Цели:

· обучающие:

- освоить новые лексические единицы по теме "Животные мира" во всех видах речевой деятельности;

- научиться рассказывать о жизни животных и насекомых, домашних питомцев;

- научиться описывать животных, питомцев и их характер, качество;

- освоить формообразование и использование в связной речи глаголов в Present Simple;

· развивающие:

- развивать навыки и умение во всех видах речевой деятельности;

- развивать умение запоминать новые слова;

- развивать умения, составляющие лингвистическую компетенцию: сопоставление языковых явлений в изучаемом и родном языках;

· воспитательные:

- воспитывать любовь к животным, экологическую культуру в целом.

Оборудование: рисунки животных, карточки с заданиями, загадки, стишки, высказывания, презентация "Puzzle", "Did you know", "Animals live:" выполненные на компьютере с помощью программы для презентаций "Power Point", выставка из работ учеников на тему "My favorite animals"

Ход урока

I. Орг. момент.

    T. Good morning, my dears! I am glad to see you. I am glad to see the guests.

    T. How are you?

    The theme of our today's lesson is "Animals in our life".

    T. Do you like animals?

    P1: Yes, of course.

II. Речевая зарядка.

    T: Open your books page 110 ex.22 give characteristics of the following animals and birds:

    Example: A fox is cunning, strong, clever and independent. It runs very fast.

    P1: A monkey is clever, funny, a brown colour, interesting. It jumps high.

    P2: A dolphin is clever, interesting. It helps, saves people. (работают по цепочке)

IV. Отработка Present Simple.

T: Remember Pr. Simple, what tense is it?

P:Это настоящее простое время, образуется при помощи окончаний -S - в 3 лице ед.числе, а во всех остальных случаях 0-окончание.

T: Ok, thank you. Now work on groups. Put the verbs in brackets into the correct Present Simple form.

    T: Open your copybooks, page 56 exercise 32. Do the crossword puzzle. Make up a word out of the encircled letters.

    T: My dears, look at the screen. You must match and fill the theme with names of animals. You can use only these words.

    1 group: horses, crocodiles, pigs, sharks, sheep, dolphins, cows, fish, goats, whales.

    2 group: bears, cats, hedgehogs, guinea-pig, squirrel, dogs, wolves, hamsters, hares, rats.

VIII. Работа над текстом "Kamchatka's gentle giants"

    T: For many people, the bear is a national symbol of Russian. There are lots of folk tales about this strong and clever animal. But Russian bears aren't all the same. The Kamchatka brown bear isn't like Siberian bears.

    Now, my dears, read the text, then answer the questions.
