Цель урока: научить строить  монологическое высказывание по теме «Известные борцы за мир»

Форма урока: беседа

Тип урока: комбинированный

Методы: показ, объяснение, тренировка, применение, коррекция, оценка

Приёмы: синтез и анализ, извлечение информации, формирование структурного высказывания «снизу вверх»

Образовательные задачи:

  • развитие навыков говорения (выражение собственного мнения);
  • совершенствование лексических навыков;
  • совершенствование грамматических навыков (употребление Past Simple).

Развивающие задачи:

  • развитие памяти, внимания;
  • развитие способности к догадке, логическому изложению своих мыслей, осуществлять  продуктивные и репродуктивные речевые действия;
  • расширение кругозора

Воспитательные задачи:

  • воспитание чувства  ответственности перед одноклассниками;
  • формирование чувства уважения к истории и культуре чужих стран;
  • воспитание чувства патриотизма;

Оборудование:

Учебник для 9 класса «Английский язык» (О.Ф. Афанасьева И.В. Михеева для школ с углубленным изучением английского языка), аудиодиск, карточки по грамматике (Past Simple), карточки-задания по аудированию, чтению, говорению (клише для выражения собственного мнения), презентация слайдов по теме «Известные люди и борцы» (Приложение 1).

Ход урока

1. Warming up:

T:  Hi, everyone! How are you?

Let`s have a look at the quotation by Martin Luther King “True peace is not merely the absence of tension: it is the presence of justice”

This quotation is closely connected with our theme ”Famous compaigners”

By the way, What does the word “famous” mean?

P: Known widely

T: And how can you explain the word “campaigner”

P: Somebody who takes part in activities

T: What synonyms  to the word “famous “do you know?

P: Outstanding, notorious

T: Right! What well-known people can you name?

P: Mother Teresa, M. Luther King

T: Good!

How do you understand the word “notorious”?

P: Well-known for something bad

T: What people are notorious?

P: Hitler, Al Kapone, Beria

T: Good! Let`s divide into 3 groups. The task is to match the photos and the names. Look at the board. (слайд 2)

T: Well done! You have some information about all the persons .It won`t be difficult to do the next task. You should choose the number of the question, make up a question,  put down it into your note-books and find the answer in the text. Let`s do this task in three groups. Each group is to answer 2 questions. (Checking homework) (слайд 4)
