  • воспитательный аспект – формирование потребности к коллективной работе, привлечение внимания к экологическим проблемам родного города;
  • учебный аспект – развития речевого умения;
  • сопутствующая задача – контроль уровня развития речевых умений.

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент.

II. Вступительное слово учителя.

Dear friends! Today we have our lesson on the topic "Ecology". You will exchange your opinions about ecological problems, you have to answer if you are friends of the Planet and how to protect our Planet, how to prevent pollution, what urgent and necessary measures to undertake. And you will perform you projects.

III. Просмотр видеофрагмента об экологических проблемах нашего города и района, снятого ребятами из общественной организации “Зелёный мир”.

Now watch the film about ecology in our town and listen to the poem.

IV. Обсуждение экологических проблем нашего города.

a) - What ecological problem did you see in this film?

Учащиеся высказывают свои предположения:

  • Littering
  • Air pollution
  • Water pollution
  • Cutting down of the forests
  • Forest fires

b) - What problem is the most urgent? What problem is on the first place?

c) Now listen to check.

25 % think that littering is the most urgent environmental problem. 21 % that air pollution is a problem. Water pollution is a problem for 19 %. 18 % think when trees are cut down it is a problem. And for 17 % it is forest fires.

V. You see the environmental problems are important. There are many people who take care of nature. And what is about our school? Who takes care in our school?

VI. There are many international organizations worrying about environmental problems. According the WWF every ten minutes one kind of animal, plant, or insect disappears. If nothing is done about it, over one million species will disappear in twenty years from now.

Защита проекта “Help Wild Animals” (ролево-игровой проект). Дети сами сочинили и поставили кукольную пьесу.

VII. Children think that all forests and woods are home to animals and birds. So people must behave as guests there. And how must we behave in the forests?
