What's the weather like today?

I'm glad that you've come today and all of you are fine and happy.

II. Singing a song, differentiating sounds.

III. Practicing asking and answering questions about food, expressing likes and dislikes.

IV. Reading jumbled sentences aloud, asking for food in a shop.

T: Oh, you see we need a lot of yummy things. Let's go to our shop. We can buy everything we want there.

But, look, the sentences on the blackboard are jumbled. Help me, please, put them in the order they should be.

A: Hello!

B: Hello! Can I help you?

A: Yes, please. I'd like a pie.

B: Here you are.

A: How much is it?

B: It's 20 roubles.

Would you like some burgers?

A: No, thank you. Bye.

B: Bye-bye.

P1-P2 Reading aloud

V. Acting out the conversations.

T: Now, let's come to our shop and buy everything you need.

VI. Limbering - up.

T: You've bought a lot of food and I think you are tired a little. Let's have a rest and do some exercises.

Big-small, long- short,
Good-bad, happy-sad.
This-that, these-those.

VII. Listening for specific information.

T: Now, please, open your workbooks on p. 26 Ex. 2.

Listen and write the letters in the boxes. Look, there's one example. Choose what Daniel's friends are having for lunch.

VIII. "Cocktail". Interviewing the guests, taking notes.

T: We've spoken about your favourite food. Let's ask our guests what they like most of all. Don't forget, please, to ask their names.

IX. Producing a project, expressing likes and dislikes. Presentation.

T: You've talked to our guests. Now let's fill in the lunchboxes. Take these cards with different kinds of food, glue them to our lunchboxes. Then tell us about your project. Give your projects to our guests.

X. Summing up the lesson.

T: Thank you very much. All of you get "5"s and "4"s. All of you have worked hard. Your projects are actually great. Today we've listened to the tape, gone shopping, played and sung a song. Your homework is Ex. 2 p. 32. See you on Monday. Good-bye.
