Сопутствующая задача: скрытый контроль уровня сформированности речевых умений.

ХОД УРОКА
Ведущий: Dear friends! We are glad to see you at our party!
(На сцену выходит ученик в костюме лектора и перебивает ведущего, тот недоуменно смотрит на лектора)
Лектор: здравствуйте, дорогие друзья. Сегодня мы собрались здесь прослушать лекцию об английской литературе, вернее, об одном её направлении. Лимерики - это особое английское пятистишие, а ещё Лимерик - это город в Ирландии, морской порт. Считается, что именно здесь родилась данная поэтическая форма. Первые лимерики были не всегда приличными матросскими частушками, в них описывались самые невероятные и смешные случаи, якобы прошедшие в странах, где побывали матросы. Первые литературные лимерики для детей написал в 1846 г. Эдвард Лир.
От других стихотворных форм лимерики отличаются следующим: в них, как уже отмечалось, пять строк. Рифма в лимериках строго фиксирована: первая и вторая строки рифмуются с пятой строкой, а третья строка рифмуется четвёртой. Очень часто лимерики начинаются со слов “there was a…”
Ведущий: Многоуважаемый лектор вы перепутали аудиторию. Мы здесь собрались на праздник и приглашаем вас.
Лектор: Но у меня целая бригада помощников из Англии!

(На сцене появляется декорация фермерского дворика, по очереди выходят участники инсценировки “The house that Jack built)

Фермер: This is my house. This is my family. I’m a farmer. My name is Jack. We live in the country on a farm. I work very hard from morning till night.
Жена: I’m a farmer’s wife. My name is Polly. I have many things to do. I cook meals,clean the rooms, care for my children.
(Слышится звон колокольчика)
Фермер:Who’s that ringing at my doorbell?
Kid: Hello, children! Do you know me? I`m Malish. In English I`m a Kid. You know, I have a good friend- Carlson, who lives on the roof. Today is his birthday. I want him to be cheerful and happy. I want to surprise him – to invite a lot of guests to his birthday party.
Ведущий: We came from England and can help you to congratulate your friend.
Kid: All right, when I say “Crible! Crable! Boom!” repeat this words after me.
(Слышится шум и “прилетает” Карлсон)
Kid: Well, here you are. This is my dear Carlson himself. He is the best Carlson in the world!
Carlson: Hello, Kid! I`m very glad to see you!
Kid: And I`m glad to see you, Carlson. I have missed you very much. I`m happy to see you again!
Carlson: Did you remember that it`s my birthday today?
Kid: Of course I did. As far as I remember, he had a birthday two times this year. Isn`t that so Carlson?
Carlson: Yes, it is, but I can have as many birthdays as I like, can`t I?
Kid: Of course, you can. Now sit down and have a rest. We are going to have a birthday party for you. A lot of guests will arrive in a few minutes.
Carlson: Guests! Then I must look handsome! (подходит кзеркалу)
Kid: Crible! Crable! Boom!
(Звучит мелодия “Голубой вагон”, участники выходят в круг)
Чтец:
You have a date to celebrate,
Which comes but once a year.
And so today we`d like to say

Лектор: we`d like to present all our limericks to you.
I saw a ship a-sailing,
A-sailing on the sea,

There were comfits in the cabin,

The four-and-twenty sailors
That stood between the decks
Were four-and-twenty white mice

Kid: Crible! Crable! Boom!

There was an old woman
Lived under the hill,
She put a mouse in a bag,
The miller did swear
By the point of his knife
He never took toll
Of a mouse in his life.
Kid: Crible! Crable! Boom!
There was a young lady of Niger
Who smiled as she rode on a tiger
They returned from the ride
With the lady inside
And the smile on the face of the tiger.
Kid: Crible! Crable! Boom!

Child: Here is our musical presents for you, Carlson!
Kid: Crible! Crable! Boom!
(Ученики читают подготовленные стишки на английском и русском Humpty-Dumpty, A Wise Old Owl, There was a King met a King, Six Little Mice, Two Little Kittens, Twinkle-twinkle Little Star)
Kid: Crible! Crable! Boom!
Child: We`ll sing for you, dear Carlson!
(На сцену выбегает вокальная группа, исполняет “My Bonny”)
Carlson: Thank you for the song. Will you sing with me.
Children: the more we are together!
Carlson: My dear friend! I am the happiest Carlson in the world! I have so many friends. Thank you, Kid. Thank you, everyone, for your smiles.
Лектор: И я достиг своего успеха. До сегодняшнего дня вы читали, учили стихи Маршака, Михалкова, Чуковского и не знали, что это английские весёлые стишки про Робина- Бобина, Шалтай-болтая, Джека, который построил дом. И сегодня познакомились с ними уже в английском варианте. Все они стали хорошим подарком для Карлсона и детей, и моя лекция удалась на славу.
Children:
The coach is at the door at last;
