Цель урока: активизация речемыслительной деятельности учащихся.

Задачи:

Учебные:

1) закрепление изученной лексики по теме «Животные»;

2) тренировать лексико-грамматические навыки, навыки аудирования и говорения.

Развивающие:

1) развивать навыки разных видов речевой деятельности;

2) развитие творческих способностей детей.

Воспитательные:

1) научить ребят сотрудничеству и работе в группе;

2) воспитывать заботливое отношение к животным.

Оснащение урока: CD-player, CD с записью песен: «Can you swim like a fish», «He’s got lots to do», «Old Macdonald had a farm», flashcards with animals and pets, запись диалога.

Этап 1.  Начало урока

Методы и формы работы: приветствие, словесный метод, фронтальная беседа.

1. Организационный момент

Teacher:

Good morning! Good morning!
Good morning to you!
Good morning dear children!
I’ m glad to see you!!!

Pupils:

Good morning! Good morning!
Good morning to you!
Good morning dear teacher!
We’re glad to see you too!!!

Teacher – P1: How are you?

Pupil1: Fine, thanks.

Teacher- P2: What about you?

Pupil2: I’m fine, thank you. And you?

Teacher – Class: I’m fine too. Sit down, please.

2. Вступительное слово учителя: сообщение темы, цели и задач урока

Teacher: I hope you are ready to work hard at our lesson. As you guess today we’ll continue to talk about animals. We’ll also listen to your dialogues and songs. I believe the lesson will be interesting for you and you’ll enjoy it.

Этап 2. Проверка домашнего задания и актуализация знаний, полученных на прошлых уроках

Методы и формы работы: словесный метод, фронтальная беседа, работа в парах, игровой метод, наглядный метод.

1. Отработка лексических навыков

Teacher: Now let’s repeat the names of animals. Look at the blackboard and say : What animals can you see? As for me I can see a brave lion.

Учащиеся называют названия животных, изображенных на фотографиях.

Teacher: Well done. What other names of animals do you know?

Pupils: Donkeys, sheep, goats, bulls, wolves, camels…etc.

2. Речевая разминка

Teacher: I hope you’ll be glad to play the game «Describe your animal». One of you will go to the blackboard and describe the picture of one animal. We’ll try to guess what animal it is. We’ll decide who will go to the blackboard with the help of this poem.

Первый ученик выбирается с помощью считалки. Ученик описывает животного, остальные ученики стараются угадать  животного.

Примерный ответ:

Pupil1: It’s got a big mouth. It’s got sharp teeth. It’s got small eyes. It can swim very well. It can run very fast…etc. What animal is it? (a crocodile)

3. Контроль навыков диалогической речи по теме

Teacher: It’s time to role play your  dialogues now. You had to make up your own  dialogues at home. Who wants to start?

Примерный диалог:

P1: Look! Here’s  my pet cat. Its name is Barsik. Look at its beautiful teeth! Have you got a pet?

P2: Yes, I have.

P1: What have you got?

P2: Guess.

P1:What colour is it?

P2: It’s black.

P1: Has it got short or long legs?

P2: It’s got long legs and a fat body.

P1: Has it got four legs?

P2: No, it hasn’t. It’s got eight.

P1: Eight! I don’t know. What have you  got?

P2: I’ve got a spider.

P1: Ooh! I hate spiders. 

4. Физкультминутка

Teacher: I can see you are tired. Will you stand up, please? Listen to me and try to repeat after me.

Giraffes are tall with necks so long.

(Stand on tiptoes; raise arms high up into the air)

Elephants’ trunks are big and strong.

(Make trunk with a hand and an arm)

Zebras have stripes and can gallop away.

(Gallop around in a circle)

While monkeys in the trees do sway.

(Sway back and forth)

Old crocodile swims in a pool so deep.

(Pretend to swim)

Turtles in the sun go to sleep.

(Lay head on hands and close eyes)

Этап 3. Закрепление изученного материала

Методы и формы работы: словесный метод, фронтальная беседа

1. Активизация глагола «have got»  и модального глагола «can» в устной речи

Teacher: It’s time to sing our first  song «Can you swim like a fish?» (Приложение 1)

Teacher: It’s such a pleasure to teach when you sing like that! Now you’ll agree or disagree with me. Listen to me carefully. If I am right repeat my sentence. If I am not right disagree with me.

Cocks can swim. (Cocks can’t swim)

Spiders have got seven legs. (Spiders have got eight legs)

Lions can run. (Lions can run)

Cats have got sharp teeth. (Cats have got sharp teeth)

Rabbits have got short ears. (Rabbits have got long ears)

Frogs can’t jump. (Frogs can jump)

Mice have got short tails. (Mice have got long tails)

Children can sing English songs. (Children can sing English songs)

Teacher: It’s time to answer my questions.

Can you hop like a rabbit?

Can you jump like a frog?

Have mice got long tails?

Can you fly like a bird?

Can he swim like a fish?

What pet have you got?

Has a crocodile got a big mouth?

Who can go without food and water for a long time?

Can monkeys hang by their tails?

2. Тренировка техники звукоподражания

Teacher: It’s time to sing our lovely song «Old Macdonald had a farm» (Приложение 2)

Этап 4. Подведение итогов урока

Методы и формы работы: словесный метод.

Teacher: You are wonderful children. It’s very good that you know so much about animals, that you have got pets at home and take care of them. None of us must ever forget that animals and birds are our friends! And we must take care of them!!!
