Урок проводился с использованием знаний учащихся по английскому языку, ботанике, МХК, истории и географии. Реализация образовательной, воспитательной и развивающей целей обучения на данном мероприятии была достигнута через решение следующих задач:
- приобретение учащимися лингвострановедческих знаний;
- приобщение к иноязычной культуре;
- формирование самооценки, взаимооценки и навыков самостоятельной работы учащихся;
- формирование уважительного отношения к иностранному языку как средству межкультурного государственного общения;
- развитие речевых способностей учащихся и словесно-логического мышления на английском языке;
- приобретение учащимися знаний по ботанике, МХК, истории.
Цель урока: создание условий для формирования нового взгляда учащихся на чай как на напиток, имеющий свою историю возникновения, традиции его потребления разными народами мира, осознание полезных свойств чая, его благотворного влияния на организм человека.

- гости-представители администрации, учителя гимназии , представители МПГУ, студенты-практиканты 5 курса МПГУ
При проведении интегрированного урока использовались технические средства обучения, информационный материал, словари, аудиовизуальный материал, посуда, четыре марки чая, костюмы учащихся.
Ход урока
Presenter 1: Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! Today we will show you “The Control Merchandise”. But first of all you will hear about common Russian and English food traditions…
Presenter 2: Доброе утро дамы и господа! Мы рады вас приветствовать на нашей программе “Контрольная закупка”! Сначала вы услышите информацию о сходствах и различиях в употреблении еды в Англии и России.
Presenter 3: English and Russian people have a lot of similar traditions. Let’s take food, for example. Englishmen usually have bacon, tea or coffee and eggs for breakfast. An average Russian person has tea or coffee, sandwiches (which are an English invention) and eggs. Sometimes they have bacon. English dinner is similar to Russian supper, and English lunch is similar to our dinner without soup.
Presenter 2: Ученица нашей гимназии Наташа только что вернулась из Англии и сейчас поделится с вами интересными «гастрономическими» фактами.
N: Nowadays in some supermarkets in England you can easily buy “Borodinskiy” bread which is called “Russian” there. And do you know that a popular dessert “Pavlova” was named after Russian ballerina Anna Pavlova?
Presenter 3: But the main similarity is that English and Russian people love tea. Of course, Russians don’t like tea as much as Englishmen do, but we also can’t imagine our lives without English traditional drink. And now welcome “The Control Merchandise”…
Presenter 1: Объясняет правила определения марки чая-победителя вначале на русском языке, затем на английском.
The aim of today’s experiment is to find out which tea brand is the best. Let’s welcome our contestants
Выходят «разносчики» чая и предлагают гостям попробовать четыре марки (два вида- российских производителей и два вида- английских) и определить понравившийся. Четыре вида чая разлиты в чайниках. На каждом чайнике наклеена своя цветовая этикетка.
Presenter 2: We've bought four packs of black tea of different brands. Two of them are English. They are “Ahmad” and “Twinings”. And two of them are Russian. They are “Mayskiy” and “Beseda”. Every brand has its own colour, but you won’t learn them until the end. Now I’d like the guests to try tea. You should choose only one brand which you think is the best.
Counter: Для нашего конкурса мы выбрали 4 марки чая. 2 из них - английские, а 2 других- русские. Это марки «Ahmad» , «Twinings» , «Беседа» и «Майский». Попробовав чай, гости должны отдать представителю счетной комиссии цветовую карточку выбранной ими марки чая.
В то время как Counter рассказывает правила на русском языке, на экране появляется презентация, представляющая конкурсантов.
Когда гости выбирают понравившийся чай, «разносчики» узнают у гостей, почему именно этой марке чая было отдано предпочтение.
Presenter 3: While Counter is counting the votes let's listen to Helen telling us the origin myths.
Вначале рассказывается легенда о происхождении чая на русском языке, затем на английском.
Story-teller 1: In one popular Chinese legend, Shennong, the legendary Emperor of China and inventor of agriculture and Chinese medicine was drinking a bowl of boiling water sometime around 2737 BC when a few leaves were blown from a nearby tree into his water, changing the color. The emperor took a sip of the brew and was pleasantly surprised by its flavor and restorative properties. A variant of the legend tells that the emperor tested the medical properties of various herbs on himself, some of them poisonous, and found tea to work as an antidote.
A similar Chinese legend goes that the god of agriculture would chew the leaves, stems, and roots of various plants to discover medical herbs. If he consumed a poisonous plant, he would chew tea leaves to counteract the poison.
A rather gruesome legend dates back to the Tang Dynasty. In the legend, Bodhidharma, the founder of Chan Buddhism, accidentally fell asleep after meditating in front of a wall for nine years. He woke up in such disgust at his weakness that he cut off his own eyelids. They fell to the ground and took root, growing into tea bushes.
Presenter 1: Сейчас второй рассказчик представит Вам одну из легенд о гонках на клиперах (кораблях для перевозки чая). В середине девятнадцатого века клиперы каждый год плавали из Китая в Англию. Это было популярное спортивное соревнование. Через 3-4 месяца после выхода из Китая корабли подплывали к реке Темзе. Первый приплывший корабль продавал чай по самой высокой цене, и капитан и команда получали большую сумму денег.
Story-teller 2: In the middle of the nineteenth century, the new tea clippers raced every year from China to Britain. The clipper races were an exciting and popular sporting event. Several clippers left Canton at the same time and raced down the China Sea, past Singapore, across the Indian Ocean, and round the Cape of Good Hope. (Unfortunately, the Suez Canal in Egypt was not open at that time.) They continued up the Atlantic Ocean, along the west coast of Africa, past the Azores Islands, and into the English Channel. Three to four months after leaving China, the clippers sailed up the River Thames to London. The first arrived ship sold its tea at the highest price, and the captain and crew got a lot of money.
Presenter 2: And now the third story-teller will tell us about tea appearance in Russia! А сейчас от третьего рассказчика Вы узнаете историю о появлении чая в России!
Story-teller 3: The history of tea in Russia can be traced back to the seventeenth century. Tea was first offered by China as a gift to Czar Michael 1 in 1618. The Russian ambassador tried the drink; he did not care for it and rejected the offer, delaying tea's Russian introduction by fifty years. In the end of 17th century, tea was regularly imported from China to Russia via a caravan of hundreds of camels travelling the year-long journey.
Presenter 3: В 1618-ом году царю Михаилу из Китая привезли в подарок мешок чая. Правитель попробовал напиток, но не принял этого подарка, тем самым замедлив привоз чая в Россию на 50 лет. И только в конце 17-ого века чай начал регулярно завозиться из Китая в Россию караванами верблюдов.

Presenter 1: Hello, Julia, how are you? Will you tell us what your favourite tea is?
Celebrity: Hello! I’m very glad to visit your programme! I love «Greenfield» most of all. It has a rich taste and colour and it’s good for breakfast, dinner and supper. But my choice is drinking tea for lunch and, of course, five-o’clock-tea. Charlotte or usual cookies enrich taste and smell of tea. I don’t trust any servants the preparation of tea as this is the beginning of meal origin!
Presenter 1: I presume, you are a fan of tea and tea ceremonies?
Celebrity: You are right, though I haven’t got any time for tea ceremonies. By the way, I wish to tell you that after tours and long rehearsals, tea removes hypostases from eyes, especially if I don’t sleep enough.

Scientist: Знали ли Вы, что почти все страны заимствовали свое название чая из Китая? И знали ли Вы, как произносится слово «чай» на датском, итальянском, румынском языках?
Did you know that almost all people of the world have borrowed their names of tea from the Chinese tea? And the name of tea in the languages of different nations depends on what part of China the tea was brought in one country or another. The fact is that in China tea is called "cha", which means "young leaf", but different provinces have different pronounciation of this word. For example, in Russia tea comes from the northern China. Most European nations called tea from the southeastern China as «tya» or «tea».This word is the basic of the botanical name of tea (Thea). The British pronounce it as «tea», and the French, Italians, Spaniards, Romanians, Dutch, Germans, Swedes, Danes, Norwegians - as «te».
Presenter 3: У каждого народа свои традиции чаепития. Например, россияне любят пить чай из блюдца. А вот англичане, положив ложку поперек чашки, подают знак о том, что чая выпито достаточно.
Scientist: The English have their tea-drinking traditions. For example, pour milk into a cup first, then tea. Or put the spoon across the cup, giving a sign that the tea was drunk enough - please do not pour. Once the Prince de'Brolie was forced to drink 12 cups of tea, before someone explained him the manipulation with a spoon. And one foreigner hid the cup in his pocket, not to drink more tea.

Black tea has a positive effect on the functionary of the heart and this tea contains vitamin P. The regular consumption of black tea makes your life longer. When you drink black tea, it helps to digest fatty food. Tea plays an important role in stabilizing blood pressure. Black tea is very good when you have a stressful situation, because it can raise the general mood.
Presenter 2: We have also asked an ordinary housewife to share her opinion.
Housewife: А сейчас Вы узнаете о том, как заваривать английский чай. В чайник положите сухую заварку, залейте её кипятком. Дайте настояться пять минут. Наполните чашки молоком на 1/3, затем остальные 2/3чашки залейте заваркой. Добавьте сахар по вкусу. И наслаждайтесь этим приятным вкусом и ароматом!
Put dry tea into teapot and pour in it boiled water. Let it stand for five minutes. Fill cups with milk for 1/3 of cup, ten fill them with brew. Put sugar as much, as you like. Help yourself!

“Экономист” рассказывает о ценах на представленные марки чая в разных странах.
Economist: Tea is very expensive now. For example, tea Ahmad now costs nearly 140 rubles for 100 packets, tea Mayskiy now costs 50 rubles for 100 packs, tea Beseda now costs 40 rubles for 50 packs and tea Milford now costs nearly 100 rubles for 75 packs.
Presenter 1: Ladies and gentlemen, thank you very much for your coming! Now we offer you to try our pie and cookies with tea. Help yourself!
