Форма проведения: пресс-конференция

Состав учащихся: разновозрастная группа учащихся отделения английского языка 3-5 года обучения (9-14 лет).

Цели:

  • Дидактические: практика учащихся в монологической и диалогической речи на базе изученного по теме в соответствии с уровнем обученности учащихся.
  • Воспитательные: формирование эстетического вкуса учащихся, воспитание уважительного отношения к школе и ее традициям.
  • Развивающие:  развитие коммуникативных умений и навыков, познавательной активности, умение вести диалог в разновозрастной группе учащихся.

Оборудование: музыкальные инструменты (гитара, кларнет, саксофон), СD, репродукции художников

Этапы подготовительной работы к уроку:

  • Установочное занятие: тематика, выбор формы проведения, выяснение его целей, планирование деятельности каждого учащегося, распределение ролей.
  • Самоподготовка учащихся: сбор материала, систематизация, составление диалогов, сообщений по заданной теме, отработка индивидуальных навыков творческого мастерства учащихся;
  • Консультативная помощь педагогов
  • Корректировка материала с учетом замечаний
  • Организация фотосъемки

ХОД УРОКА

1) Сообщение целей и задач урока

– Good afternoon, children. Our school is 60 this year. This lesson is devoted to the jubilee. Our guests today are the editors of next magazines “English. The 1-stof September.”, “Young painter”, “Music life”, “Customs and Traditions of Russian people”.
The aim of the lesson is to demonstrate the English pupils’ speech of different ages and groups. The lesson is organized in the form of press conference. It helps to develop your abilities in dialogues, conversations and writing. We try to contain information about all departments of Art school.
Your task  for the next lesson is to write the article about one of the departments of our school.

2) Диалоги

1. Editor: My name is Kseniya.
I am the editor of the magazine “English.1st of September”. It’s very interesting for me to know about your school and of course about your English department. How is your teaching organized?

Pupil 1: Our teaching is organized very well. The teachers use modern methods to teach us to speak, to write and to read English. We learn about English-speaking countries, make up dialogues, write compositions. We try to read original English literature.    Pupil 2: We attend our English lessons twice a week. Our lessons last 1 hour and 20 minutes. There are 7-8 pupils in every group.

Pupil 3: We have good opportunities to study English. There is a tape-recorder, a TV set, books, in every classroom.

Editor: There are a lot of English texts, articles, exercises in our magazine. Do you use them at your lessons?

Pupil 4: Yes, we do. We receive the magazine every month and do a lot of tasks from it. It helps us to study English better.

Editor: Thank you very much. I shall write the article about your English department. I wish you to be successful.

2. Editor: my name is Yulya. I am the editor of the magazine “Young Painter”. I’m interested in art and I can’t imagine my life without it. I’m crazy on my work. Let me ask you some questions about your painting  department.

– What role does painting play in your life?
– What kind of painting do you prefer?
– Who is your favorite painter?
– Do you take up painting lessons?
– How often do you visit picture galleries?   

Pupil 5: I’ll try to answer your questions which you are interested it. I am fond of painting. I often attend art painting exhibitions. I have learnt a lot about Russian painters. My favourite painter is Levitan. I like his land scapes “After rain” and “Golden Autumn”. These paintings by Levitan are beautiful. I have been to the State Tretyakov Gallery. This excursion was organized by my teacher in painting. I think painting is very important in my life. I take up painting lessons with great pleasure.

3. Editor: Let me introduce myself. My name is Anzhela.
I am a representative of the journal “Music life”. It is very important for me problems of the theory of music. As far as I know a lot of teenagers want to start learning music and to play any musical instrument. What can you recommend? What will you start with?

Pupil 6:  The beginners need to learn what music is. How it is written. Music is something you can hear. Music is a nice sound. Music is a sign language. Music sounds can be different. Some music sounds are high, some sounds are low, some ones are long or shot.

Editor: I see you are good at the theory of music.

Pupil 6: I can play the piano and sing rather well. Would you like you to listen to my singing?

Editor: Of course with pleasure. You have a good voice. I wish you success in your study in future.

4. Editor: I represent the journal “Customs and Tradition of Russian people”.    
My name is Ira.  Russian people keep their customs and traditions and our journal inform their readers about the history and the culture of our country. It is our aim. There is a folklore department at your Art school, isn’t there? Are the pupils taught to dance folk dances and to sing folk songs?

Pupil 7: Yes, there is a folklore department at our school; a lot of people attend it.  The repertoire of the department is variety and very interesting. The pupils sing folk songs, sung couplets, dance folk dances, recite Russian folk poetry, which reflect people’s mood and emotions. Besides there is a dance department at our school. The pupils are taught to dance folk dances, classical, modern dances.
They take part in many competitions not only in our region, but in the country and get high prizes. All the concerts of folklore and dance departments are valued as high quality shows. The teachers and pupils are rewarded by different diplomas and deeds. Two girls Sveta and Yana are invited today and they’ll dance for you.

5. Editor: My name is Ann. I am  the editor of  the magazine “Music at School”

It’s difficult to live without music. We like to listen to music, we enjoy to dance to music and we play musical instruments. As far as I know your music teachers tell you about famous composers and teach you to play different musical instruments and to sing songs. And you take part in various concerts, festivals, competitions.

Kostya, I want to write the article about your department and I expect you to answer my questions. How long have you been learning at school of Arts?

Pupil 7 (Kostya): About 5 years and I agree people can’t live without music. As for me I’m found of music. It’s interesting to play the saxophone different melodies.

Editor: Kostya, what music do you like?

Pupil 7 (Kostya): I like different music: classical, jazz, rock and blues. I’ll tell some words about blues. The USA is the home of blues music. Blues comes from the songs of the black slaves. They sang about their hard life. New Orleans is famous for traditional jazz. New York is famous for modern jazz.

Editor: Kostya, thank you very much. Your information will be fine for my article.

Pupil 7 (Kostya): I would like to play for you

Editor: And what about you Denis? What instrument can you play?

Pupil 7 (Denis): I can play the guitar. I have been studying the fourth year. I’m really interested in music. I’m told by my teacher that I’m a capable pupil.

Editor: Can you give us one more music lesson?

Pupil 7 (Denis): With great pleasure.

Editor: Roma, you are a pupil of the Oshanin school, what information can you add?

Pupil 7 (Roma): I can play the clarinet. I do my best. I attend school twice a week. I play the clarinet at school and at home and take part in concerts.
