Цели:
- тренировка навыков чтения и устной речи,
- совершенствование навыков диалогической речи,
- активизация фонетических навыков.
Задачи:
- учить понимать на слух связанный текст,
- познакомить учащихся с достопримечательностями Лондона,
- тренировать учащихся в чтении,
- учить употреблять в речи пройденные на предыдущих занятиях слова и словосочетания,
- совершенствовать монологическую и диалогическую речь.
Оборудование: Картинки по теме «Достопримечательности Лондона»
I. Начало урока. Организационный момент
– Good morning, children!(Good
morning, teacher!)
– I am glad to see you . (We are glad to see you too.)
– How are you? (I am fine, thank you. And how are you?)
I am fine too, thank you. Today we shall have a talk about the sights of London. (Учитель называет тему урока и настраивает детей на беседу по теме «Достопримечательности Лондона».)
II. Фонетическая зарядка.
We shall start our lesson with the English sounds. You will work in pairs and remember three words with each sounds.
Учитель раздает учащимся по 3 звука на каждую пару учащихся. Задание для учащихся: назвать звук и три английских слова с этим звуком.

IV. Тренировка навыков ознакомительного чтения
– Now we are going to speak about places of interest of London.
Данный этап урока не должен превратиться в монолог учителя. Учитель показывает достопримечательности Лондона, рассказывает о самых интересных местах посещения и предлагает открыть учебник с. 65 у. 16. Ученики читают тексты по теме достопримечательности и отвечают на вопросы.
V. Тренировка монологической речи по теме «Лондон»
- Would you like to visit London? Why?
- What can you tell us about Bloody of Tower?
- What sights would you like to see best of all?

VII. Совершенствование навыков техники чтения вслух и про себя
I want you to open your books, page 65, exercise 16. Let’s match the postcards with the texts describing the places of interest. You’ll have 4 minutes to do the task. Then we shall check up it all together.
Учитель организует выполнение упр. 16 с.65 из учебника. Ученики в течение 4 минут читают текст про себя и соотносят картинки и рассказы о достопримечательностях Лондона. Затем учитель предлагает им назвать номера рассказов и буквы соответствующих текстов.
VIII. Совершенствование навыков устной речи по теме «Лондон»
– Let’s learn to pronounce the names of places of interest. You can find them in exercise 17, c. 66 и читают вслух рассказы из упр.65. Учитель вывешивает на доске картинки по теме «Лондон».
IX. Тренировка навыков аудирования
– You can see the pictures of some places in London on the blackboard. Can you name them? Listen to my stories and choose the pictures.
Рассказы учителя:
It is very old. It has a long and cruel history. You can see it from the river Thames It is not just one building. Many years ago the Kings and the Queens of Britain lived in this place.(The Tower of London).
It stands near the Houses of Parliament. It is really a bell. It weighs 13, 720 kilograms. It has a deep tone and you can hear it on the radio. It is a famous clock (Big Ben).
It is not far from the Houses of Parliament. It is a symbol or England. It was founded by ST. Peter and built by King Edward in 1065. Some famous people are buried there. (Westminster Abbey.)
They stand beside the river Thames. You can also see them from Westminster Abbey. The country’s leaders speak at this place. The famous clock Big Ben stands near them.(The houses of Parliament)
X. Совершенствование навыков устной речи по теме «Лондон»
It’s time to look at the map of London. Find the places you know and name them. What other places can you find on the map?
Учащиеся выполняют упр. 21, стр.67. Учитель побуждает называть знакомые и новые для них достопримечательности Лондона.
XI. Итог урока
You’ve worked very well today. I hope you’ve learned a lot about London, the capital of Great Britain. Your home task will be ex. 23, page 68.
