COWBOYS

Cowboys became a part of American history. The cowboys 1_____ the cattle from cattle thieves and guided them on routes across the open country. Cowboys worked, ate and slept on the trail, with their constant companions, the 2_____. The day started before sun-rise and ended 18 hours later. Their life was hard, so the cowboy developed a lot of different skills.
