Цели и задачи: повторение изученного материала по теме “The place we live in” перед зачетом. Закрепление навыков аудирования, устной речи, чтения, письма.

I. Образовательные

Организовать обучение аудированию, письму, чтению и употреблению лексики по изученной теме в устной речи.

II. Развивающие

1) развитие навыков аудирования с целью развития устной речи;

2) развитие и поддержание интереса к изучаемому предмету;

3) формирование и отработка лексических навыков чтения, говорения, и навыков письма;

4) развитие интеллектуальной, эмоциональной и мотивационной сфер личности учащегося.

III. Оборудование

а) магнитофон;

б) видеомагнитофон;

в) тематические картинки.

Ход урока

Beginning of Lesson

– Good morning, boys and girls. I am glad to see you. How are you today? (We are fine, thank you. And how are you?)

– I am fine, too, thanks. Who is absent today? (All are present.)

– Today we are going on to talk about flats.

You will:

a) listen to the song “There`s A Room In My House”;

b) work with pictures “My Room”, “My Sitting-Room”, “My Kitchen”, “My Parents` Bedroom”;

c) write words on the topic “My Room”, “My Sitting Room”, “Our Kitchen”, “My Parents` Bedroom”;

d) practise in asking as many questions as you can on the topic “Flat” to get more information;

e) practise in writing (dictation)

f) practise in conversation (video)

II. Let`s get down to phonetic practise these words:

Pay attention to the pronounciation.

My name is Sarah. I live with my mother and father in a flat. The flat is on the fifth floor of a tall building. It has 14 floors and a car park in the basement. My father parks his car there.

Our flat is not in the centre of the city. It is 3 kilometres from the centre. My father works in the city so he goes to work by train every day. He doesn`t drive his car only at weekends. Then he takes us into the country or to the beach.

Our flat has three bedrooms. There is a bedroom for my mother and father, one me and one for my brother. There is a sitting room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a toilet. We do not have a garden, but there is a small balcony. There are some plants on the balcony. In summer we often sit on the balcony because it gets very hot inside the flat. Our flat is small, but we are very happy in it.
