Цели и задачи урока.

  • Образовательные:
    • активизировать употребление ранее изученной лексики в речи учащихся;
    • совершенствовать навыки речевой деятельности учащихся.
  • Развивающие:
    • работа над фонетическими навыками;
    • развитие творческих и артистических способностей учащихся;
    • развитие умения учащихся осуществлять монологические высказывания.
  • Воспитательные:
    • воспитание у ребят чувства сотрудничества и ответственности;
    • расширять кругозор ребят.

Технологический аспект:

  • технология – это совокупность и последовательность методов и процессов преобразования исходных материалов, позволяющих получить продукцию с заданными параметрами, т.е. технология представляет собой совокупность методов, направленных на реализацию цели урока на основе его содержательного компонента и с использованием следующих средств обучения. В контексте данного урока – это проблемное обучение, которое направлено на приобретение ЗУН; усвоение способов самостоятельной деятельности; развитие познавательных и творческих способностей учащихся; технология коммуникативного обучения иноязычной культуре, предполагающая организацию обучения на основе общения в ходе сотрудничества и партнерства, активно привлекая реалии страны изучаемого языка; игровые технологии, имитирующие ситуации реального общения и направленные на воссоздание и усвоение общественного опыта.

Приемы:

  • формирование коммуникативной компетенции;
  • использование компьютерной технологии;
  • использование метода опоры;
  • учебно-познавательная игра.

ХОД УРОКА

I. Организационный момент

Приветствие.

II. Фонетическая зарядка

– В каждой строчке есть слово, которое не подходит к остальным. Найдите его.

III. Активизация лексики.

Выполняются следующие задания.

1. Ученики дают синонимы и антонимы к предложенным словам. Остальные слушают и исправляют ошибки, если они есть.

1. As far as I know you have always dreamt of visiting the UK’. Today your dream will come true, we’ll go to London together. I offer you to have an imaginary traveling to the capital of Great Britain. I think we won’t rainy weather spoil our trip.

2. And now let’s exchange our opinions of the future trip. What do you think our traveling will be like? What do you expect of it? Don’t forget to use the conversational formulas given on the blackboard.

– As far as I see you are sure our traveling to London will be interesting and exciting. You’ll learn a lot about its famous places while going sightseeing. Now you’ll hear an interview with a tour guide:

A. How do you like London?

B. Oh, it’s beautiful. It’s different from other European capitals.

A. Yes, I think it’s one of the most interesting and unusual cities in the world. There are many places to visit. Museums, art galleries, theatres…

B. Oh, yesterday I saw the Houses of Parliament, heard the voice of Big Ben, visited the famous Tower.

A. Have you visited Westminster Abbey?

В. Not, yet. What is it famous for?

A. It was founded in 1065. The coronation of all British Kings and Queens take place there.

B. How can I get there now?

A. By bus or just walk.

Look here please. Now we can see the Tower оf London from the river Thames. The Tower is very old. It has a long and cruel history. It is not just one building.
The tall building is the white Tower the oldest part of the Tower of London. The Bloody Tower is near the river. You do not sea blood there today. But the Bloody Tower has a history of blood – the blood of men, women and even children.
Now the king and the queen of Britain do not live in the Tower.
When the queen is in London, she stays in Buckingham palace. A lot of tourists go to Buckingham palace, the place, where British kings and queens live when they are in London. Important visitors often go to the palace. They meet Queen Elizabeth and the Royal family inside the palace. They stand outside and see the changing of the Guard.
This is the Tower Bridge, built in 1894. It is one of the famous bridges across the Thames. It is next to the Tower of London. It opens and ships go up and down the River Thames.

Teacher: Listen to the conversation between the tourist and the Londoner.

– Excuse me. Could you tell how to get to Westminster Abbey?

– Oh, it’s very easy. Can you see that wide street over there?

– Yes, I can.

– Good. Go along that street and it will lead you to Westminster abbey.

– Thank you very much.

– You are welcome. Have a nice day.

Standing not far from the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey is s symbol of England. The legend says that Westminster Abbey was founded by St. Peter himself. We know that Westminster Abbey was built by. King Edward in 1065. The coronation of all British and Queens takes place in Westminster Abbey some famous English people are also buried here. The funeral service for Diana? Princess of Wales took place in Westminster Abbey in September 1997.
The famous clock Big Ben stands near the Houses of Parliament. Big Ben is really a bell. It is a big bell. It is weighs about 13 tons.
The country’s leaders speak in the Houses of Parliament. The men and women there are the voice of the British people. The Houses of Parliament stand beside the river Thames. You can go on a boat from Westminster and see Houses of Parliament from Westminster Bridge.

– Look at the screen please and let’s watch the film about sightseeing in London and then try to answer some questions:

– What is MOMI?

– What do you know about waxworks museum?

Everyone enjoys their visit to MOMI. In MOMI the history and magic of cinema and TV is explained. There are hundreds of clips from films and TV programs. Visitors take am active part. You can act in a Hollywood western, select a film to watch or even draw your own cartoon film.
During your visit you can also meet characters from the past. Visitors can ask any questions about the time in history from which the characters come. It’s both interesting and good fun!
Madam Tussaud’s Life – Size Figures of Famous People. It is one of the sights of London. It’s the famous waxworks museum which has one of the largest collections of wax models in the word. Here you can meet the famous of course and the infamous: an unforgettable experience. You can meet great characters of history and art. Here actors, film stars, pop-singers, and sportsmen come face to face with famous politicians.
There is a special place for the queen’s family, her husband, their children and other members of the Royal family.

VIII. Физкультминутка

Teacher: Dear friends I want to add that London is one of the capitals, where there are many parks and gardens. What do you know about them?

P1 Londoners love their parks and are proud of them. London is very rich in parks and gardens.

P2 You can spend the whole day in the country – without leaving London.

P3 London’s parks are full of trees, grass, flowers and water. You can walk among old trees, relax and admire flowers and paints or take part in the many activities such as tennis, swimming and horse-riding.

P4 The Royal Parks are the property of the Royal family. In central London they include Hyde Park, Green Park, St. James’ Park, Regent’s Park and Kensington Gardens.

P5 Hyde Park is famous for its outdoor entertainments and its Speaker’s Corner. On a Sunday morning anyone can make a speech about something he believes to be very important. You can also visit Regent’s Park where you will find London Zoo, boating lake and an open-air theatre, where in summer you can enjoy Shakespeare’s plays.

P6 St. James’s Park the oldest London park, is very beautiful with its trees and flower beds and view of Buckingham Palace. The Statue of the fairy-tale hero, Peter Pan, can be seen in Kensington Gardens. Parks are free in London.
