Цель:

Активизация рече-мыслительной деятельности.

Задачи:

Обучающие:

  • активизировать лексику по теме; закрепить грамматический материал (пассивный залог);
  • познакомить с творчеством вологодских писателей и поэтов; расширять словарный запас.

Развивающие:

  • формировать и развивать коммуникативные умения развивать мышление, умение дать оценку, высказывать свое мнение на английском языке;
  • развивать творчество, воображение, эрудицию;

Социо-культурные:

  • расширять кругозор.

Воспитательные:

  • формировать уважение и интерес к изучению английского языка; воспитывать чувство патриотизма; культуру общения;
  • формировать умение работать в команде, помогать друг другу; потребность в практическом пользовании языка в различных сферах деятельности.

Ход урока

1. Teacher: Good morning! Sit down. Today we have a final lesson on the topic. We’ll know more information about famous Russian poets and writers, their works, charactes, hobbies and interests. Your hometask was to do projects “Our Poets” and “Our Writers”.You were divided into two groups. The first group was to find the information about poets, the second about writers. Let’s begin to present the general information.

2.You are going to play the part of the writer you have chosen. You can use a costume to look like a writer. Don’t introduсe yourself, tell a little about your life. Other group must ask questions and guess your name. Приложение 1

P1: I was born in the village Konstantinovo near Ryazan. I lived with uncles.They learned me to swim, ride a horse. I like Russian nature. My first book is “Radunitsa”. I was in Caucasus where

I wrote a some poems, for example, “Stansy”, “A letter to woman”, “A letter from mother”.

P2: Where were you born?

P1: 4 October 1895.

P2: You are S. Esenin.

P1: That’s right.

P3: I was born in Voronezh. I like to travel. I left Russia in 1918 during Revolution and I lived in France where I wrote “Mitya’s love” and other works.

P4: Who is your friend?

P3: Chehov, Kuprin.

P4: You are Bunin.

P5: My father was the professor of Moscow University And the founder of the Museum of Arts.

My mother was a very romantic and aristic woman, a musician. In my childhood I Lived a lot in Tarusa and in foreign countries too.

P6: What was your first work?

P5: “The evening album.”

Pupils: You are Marina Tsvetaeva.

Teacher: Well done. Please, tell me one thing that connects these people.

Pupils: They love Russia very much.

Teacher: And what about you? Do you like Motherland? I”d like you to meet writers and poets of Vologda region. Here are the books of O. Fokina, A Yashin, V Belov, N. Klyuev. Приложение 1

3. Read the extract of Igor Severyanin’s poem:

My Sheksna and Yagorba and Suda

Where was born first love

Where I become a poet

By force of mob law and my seething blood. (Дети читают, переводят, знакомятся с оригиналом.)

Teacher: I’d like to add about I. Poluyanov, V. Korotaev, A. Savelichev. My favourite books are “Two pines were standing” by Victor Korotaev about country life of young teachers and “Zeberegi” by Arkadi Savelichev about the country life in Myaksa near Cherepovets during The Great Patriotic War.

Работа в группах (с карточками) – Teacher: Discuss and answer the questions:

Why is this war called The Great Patriotic War?   When was The Great Patriotic War started and finished? Why?

 

What holiday will be celebratded this year? When?   Why are some people called veterans and others front-line soldiers?

4. Teacher: I announce a song contest. You must remember war songs (films)...

5. Listen to the poem by M. Lukonin “Wounds”, read and answer the questions: How many parts can the poem be divided? Why?

War marked us, soldiers
so we couldn’t stray
Those war time scars –
we still feel them today
But peace time comes again
and we know nothing
nothing was in vain.

6. Teacher:Write a small test, please.

7. Teacher: Your hometask is to write an essay about book or picture devoted to the war.

What do you think about the groups’ work? What was interesting for you? (Учитель выставляет оценки и завершает урок возвращением к эпиграфу). Thank you. The lesson is over. Goodbye.
