Tapescript.

Mozart was a genius. He began to show his wonderful talent for music when he was a child.

His elder sister was learning to play the clavier. Her legs didn't nearly reach the floor, for she was 8 years old. The soft tunes she played could be heard all over the house. In another room her three-year-old brother Wolfgang was playing with his toys. He heard the music and ran into her room. She agreed, she thought he would just make noise, but he didn't. The sound was pleasant. After that he took a great interest in music. He remembered the little pieces in his sister's music book and played them by ear. Later he asked his father, who was a musician himself to teach him. When he was 4, he started composing his own tunes and playing them on the clavier.

When he was 6, his father decided to show him to the world. They gave concerts in the big cities in Europe. When Mozart appeared on the stage and performed the audience was delighted. He was not nervous and didn't have stage fright. His first performances made him a name in Europe. His whole time was given up to music. But too much travelling, overwork brought about a serious illness. But as soon as he was better, Mozart wanted to perform again. He couldn't imagine his life without music. He composed music when he was a little child, when he was a big boy, when he was a grown-up man.

The music of W. Mozart is known and remembered today. His music is played all over the world.
