Цель: формирование навыков говорения.

Задачи: формирование лексических навыков, навыков употребления в речи Present Perfect, навыков построения монологического высказывания на сверхфразовом единстве с использованием опорной схемы.

Оснащение: мультимедийная презентация, раздаточный материал, учебный текст.

Ход урока

I Организационный момент.

Good morning, boys and girls. I’m glad to see you? How are you? Is today a lucky day for you?

II Основная часть

1. Фонетическая зарядка.

A lucky day... Let’s learn a short poem about it.

See a penny, pick it up, all day long you'll have good luck!
See a penny, let it lie, all day long you'll have to cry.

(Хоровое проговаривание двустишия)

2. Речевая зарядка

Have you seen a coin today? It’s a superstition.

3. Постановка задачи

Today we are going to discuss some of them. Take these cards, please. You have to fill the tables.

Cats are very strange animals, aren’t they? What cats are lucky in Russia? And in Britain? Write down in your table.

There are some interesting superstitions, Feel the gaps in the sentences.

1. On the first day of the month is lucky to say...

2. In autumn catch falling...... . Every ..... means a lucky month in the next year.

3. If you.... two magpies, you’ll be happy.

Don’t forget to feel your tables.

Have you ever found a four-leaf clover? A horseshoe?

What can bring you bad luck? What will happen if you break a mirror? If you go under a ladder? If you open an umbrella at home?

Why?

Fill your cards, they are very useful for our next work!

Now we have the information about superstitions. Let’s use it for a sociological research. Prepare questions which you are going to ask. Write them in this table. Work in pairs.
